Nancy Reynolds who started raising chickens with her daughter for the 4-H continues to raise and show the birds. Reynolds who lives in Sylmar is opposed to proposed ordinances that would limit the number of roosters  that people may have on their property even if it is zoned for horses and small domestic livestock.
