
Los Angeles City Firefighters work to remove water and debris from the Macy's department store in Woodland Hills, Ca. A six-inch water main broke on the third-floor causing water to run down to the first and second floors. Sixteen engine companies responded to remove four to six inches of water on the floors and salvage merchandise. The cause of the break was believed to be the magnitude-5.4 earthquake that was centered 29 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles near the city of Chino Hills.(Hans Gutknecht/LA Daily News)
